Beetle V8 Dragster Bj.1968 Eigenbau with Chevy V8 Sell heavy heart here my absolutely unique V8 Beetle of 1968. Have the car since May 2008. The engine has been completely overhauled a year ago. In test runs on a non-bonded web with poor grip and full fuel tank, without nitrous oxide, the beetle ran 12,80sec. Since the engine was overhauled, the beetles the quarter mile was down 8 times, not more. The beetle was in good conditions, without laughing gas to run the 12sec. If that is not enough can further tune the engine, because the engine is only slightly tuned (absolute Standfest). I personally would 11er or 12er times completely enough. The Beetle was built consuming in Belgium by a renowned tuner.
